Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the Rural Works Department (RWD), Government of Arunachal Pradesh, handles information within the CMCSRRDP (Chief Minister's Comprehensive Rural Road Development Program) operations portal. This portal is an internal monitoring system for authorized government officials.

Information We Collect

• Official user account details (name, official email, role, assigned district, and a securely hashed password).
• Rural road project and work records (project identifiers, locations, scope, budget, and physical/financial progress).
• Geo-tagged field photographs, including embedded GPS coordinates and EXIF metadata captured at the work site.
• Quality control (QC) and inspection reports submitted by field officials.
• Sign-in and activity records used for security and audit.

How We Use Information

Information is used solely to monitor the planning, execution, and quality of rural road works under CMCSRRDP, to administer official user accounts, and to maintain the security and integrity of the portal. Aggregate, non-personal progress statistics may be displayed publicly on the portal's landing page.

Access and Disclosure

Access is restricted to authorized RWD officials on a role and district basis. Data is not sold or shared with third parties, except as required by law or by a competent government authority.

Data Retention

Project records, photographs, and reports are retained as official program records in line with applicable departmental records-retention norms. Account records are retained while the account is active and as required for audit.

Security

Passwords are stored only as salted cryptographic hashes. Access requires authentication, and mutating actions are protected against cross-site request forgery. Access is logged and monitored.
